Description

The Horch 1a off-road passenger car was produced in the Horch factory in 1938-1941. Vehicle data: length 4.85 m, width 2 m, height: 2 m, weight 3600 kg, drive: eight-cylinder Auto-Union engine (later licensed Ford engine) with 81 hp. The car was intended for the transport of 6 people or as a transport, medical, reconnaissance vehicle and even as an artillery tractor. It had four-wheel drive and independent suspension. Over time, it was modernized (towards simplification of construction) based on the experience of military users. Horch vehicles were used on all fronts of World War II.
