Description

ORP Metalowiec, as one of the four Mołnia class (according to the Russian nomenclature) and Tarantul (according to NATO nomenclature) class ships sold to Poland, was built in the Russian shipyard in Rybinsk in 1988. It entered service in the Navy that year.
