After being taken over by the Polish Navy, it was sent for renovation to the British shipyard in Rosyth. He returned to Poland in 1921 and after trials and arming, he started service in 1923 as ORP Ślązak. He was included in the Torpedo Squadron. He participated in exercises and courtesy visits. From 1937 she was used as a training ship - target for airplanes. After being withdrawn from service in 1938, on September 1, 1939, it was anchored in the Bay of Puck. The ship was attacked by He 111 bombers. Avoided being hit. It was captured by the Germans and, while being towed for scrapping, sank near Gdynia - Redłowo.
